DIGITAL DIGRESSIONS
We are looking to connect new writers and fresh talent to showcase short pieces of writing via Powerhouse's platform to deliver to our short-attention-spanned audiences.
STRUCTURE
We want notes app brain dumps, digressions, testers, new ideas, left overs - anything you think deserves to be heard or you think will get you noticed!
If you want to test out a monologue, dialogue or short extract (up to 3 people), we want to hear it! Perhaps you’ve written something that’s never fit in a full play, feels more like a poem, only just wrote & don’t know what it’s for yet and want to try it out?
There are 3 Categories:
- NOTES APP BRAIN DUMP (60 seconds maximum)
- UNFINISHED \ UNMOISTURISED (3 minutes maximum)
- HOT AND ON THE MARKET (5 minutes maximum)
We will match you with actors and record your writing, or you can perform it yourself, & we will platform your content for free!
GUIDELINES
Writers are allowed to submit 1 script per category (3 in total).
Please ensure your submission is formatted as a script where possible and submitted as a PDF.
Include a short (1-2 sentences) bio. This will not be considered with your writing, but will be useful if we choose your writing for this cycle. There is no submission charge.
